Indian car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has announced massive discounts on the purchase of its three cars in the hatchback and sedan categories in August 2023. Discounts of up to Rs 64,000 are available for a limited time period on Maruti Suzuki’s Ignis, Ciaz and Baleno. These benefits are available in the form of cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and corporate benefits. It is to be noted that discounts may vary from city to city, depending on the availability of stock.

Maruti Suzuki August 2023 Discounts: Full Details

MARUTI SUZUKI IGNIS 

The Ignis is the entry-level model in the Nexa lineup, and all manual variants are up for discounts of up to Rs 64,000, while automatic models are eligible for discounts of up to Rs 54,000. The Citroen C3, Tata Punch, and entry-level models of the Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite are competitors of the Ignis. It has a lone 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 83 horsepower. It can be paired with either a five-speed manual or five-speed AMT transmission. Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha are the four trims that are offered, with the AMT being an option on all except the base trim. Currently, the Ignis costs between Rs 5.84 lakh and Rs 8.16 lakh.

MARUTI SUZUKI CIAZ 

The Ciaz is presently one of the oldest cars in its segment and received its last minor revamp in 2018. Customers can avail of discounts of up to Rs 48,000 on all midsize sedan models this month. It has a 1.5- litre petrol engine producing 105 horsepower that is coupled to either a four-speed torque converter automatic gearbox or a five-speed manual gearbox. Similar to the Ignis, the Ciaz is offered in four trims and ranges in price from Rs 9.3 lakh to Rs 12.29 lakh. It competes with the new Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, and Skoda Slavia.

MARUTI SUZUKI BALENO 

Maruti is also offering huge discounts of up to Rs 30,000 on the manual, automatic and CNG variants of the Baleno. The hatchback has a 1.2 litre petrol engine producing 90bhp, that is connected to either a five-speed manual or an automatic manual transmission (AMT). The factory-installed CNG kit is offered in the Delta and Zeta models, where it generates 77.5 bhp and 98.5Nm of torque and is only combined with a manual transmission. Its pricing ranges from Rs 6.61 lakh to Rs 9.88 lakh and it competes with the Toyota Glanza, Hyundai i20, and Tata Altroz.
