Nissan Tekton 7-Seater: The Nissan Tekton was launched in India in July 2026, and a prototype of its 7-seater version was recently spied testing for the first time. The Tekton is based on the same CMF-B platform as the new Renault Duster. Notably, Renault is also planning to launch a 7-seater variant of the Duster, and its prototypes have been spied on multiple occasions on Indian roads. Let’s take a look at the expected design, features, and specs of the upcoming Nissan Tekton 7-seater.
Nissan Tekton 7-Seater: Expected Design
The Nissan Tekton 7-seater test mule was heavily camouflaged when spied. However, it reveals several key details about the exterior of the upcoming Nissan Tekton 7-seater. The front fascia looks somewhat similar to the Tekton. The LED DRL signature and the headlight units look similar. The rest of the front fascia was heavily covered, but we expect the upcoming SUV to feature revised bumpers and a redesigned grille.
While the front fascia resembles the Tekton, the rear section looks completely different. It features a distinct LED taillight setup from the Tekton. While the Tekton features C-shaped LED taillights, the test mule of its forthcoming bigger sibling was spied with a life-cycle impulse-style signature.

Nissan Tekton 7-Seater: Expected Features
The upcoming Nissan Tekton 7-seater SUV is expected to feature the same cabin layout as the Tekton. However, a new theme, three rows of seating, and different design elements are also anticipated. The second row of seats is expected to feature sliding and reclining functions, along with a one-touch fold functionality. The Tekton 7-seater is also expected to feature a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, a 10.1-inch fully digital driver’s display, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.

Nissan Tekton 7-Seater: Expected Engine
The upcoming Tekton 7-seater is expected to mirror the Tekton 2026 in terms of its powertrain options. We can expect the Tekton 7-seater SUV to draw power from a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine with choices of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The engine can generate a peak power and torque output of 158 hp and 280 Nm, respectively.
