Oben Rorr EZ Sigma Launched: Oben Electric has launched a new electric motorcycle in the Indian market - the Rorr EZ Sigma. Priced from Rs 1.27 lakhs, the Oben Rorr EZ Sigma is available with two different battery sizes: 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh. The bigger 4.4kWh variant can be had at Rs 1.37 lakhs. Note that both prices are introductory, ex-showroom. Bookings for the electric bike are underway at a token amount of Rs 2,999, while deliveries are scheduled to commence in mid-August. 

Post the launch period, the 3.4 kWh variant will be priced at Rs 1.47 lakhs (introductory, ex-showroom), up from Rs 1.27 lakhs (introductory, ex-showroom). As for the 4.4 kWh variant, buyers will have to pay an additional Rs 18,000. The bike is available for purchase on Amazon.

Oben Rorr EZ Sigma: Battery, Range

The Rorr EZ Sigma offers three ride modes (Eco, City, Havoc) as well as a reverse mode. The top-end 4.4 kWh variant claims an IDC range of 175 km. With the 3.4 kWh battery pack, Oben Electric offers an IDC range of 140 km.

The battery is an LFP unit, which claims to provide 50 per cent higher temperature resistance when compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries. Both batteries come paired with a 7.5 kW motor, producing 52Nm of torque. 

Oben Rorr EZ Sigma: Top Speed, Charging Capabilities

Both variants of the electric bike deliver a top speed of 95 km/h (claimed) and a 0-40 km/h sprint time of 3.3 seconds. The 3.4 kWh variant takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 per cent; the bigger version can do the same in 2 hours.

Oben Rorr EZ Sigma: Features

Features-wise, the Oben Rorr EZ Sigma has a new 5.0-inch TFT display with built-in navigation, call/message alerts, trip meter, and media control, as well as a reverse mode, revised seating, and new graphics. Moreover, the company also offers a new Electric Red colour option for a wide appeal.

Oben Rorr EZ Sigma: Suspension, Braking, Safety Features

The Sigma uses Oben's ARX frame, suspended by a 37mm telescopic front and a 7-step adjustable rear monoshock. The bike also has a Bybre braking system, a driver alert system, 130/70-17 wider tyres, 200 mm ground clearance, 230 mm water-wading depth, Battery Theft Protection, geo-fencing, and dual USB ports.
