Bihar Election News: In the election season, all eyes are on the Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, whose mental health is often questioned by his rival, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. In the last few months, Nitish has been trolled for his unusual gestures during public events. A fresh such incident occurred in Bihar's Purnea during an event attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.

Kahe Baithi Ho Khada Hoke Pranam Karo: CM Nitish
During the Purnea rally, Nitish Kumar left hundreds of attendees baffled by scolding a woman for not standing to welcome PM Modi. The 'classroom moment' unfolded when Nitish was welcoming PM Modi. The Bihar chief minister, during his speech, instructed the audience to stand up and applaud the Prime Minister for his contribution in the progress of the state.
He said, “I once again congratulate and thank him. He is doing so much for the entire country and also for Bihar. Zara khada ho kar ke inko ek baar pranaam kariye. Khada hoke pranaam kariye (Stand up and pay your respects to him once.).
“Khaahe baithi hue ho? Ae, khada ho! Waha baithe hue ho, khada ho. (Why are you sitting? Stand up)," Nitish again firmly pressed after seeing someone sitting in the rally.
Bihar CM Is Not In A Conscious State Of Mind, Alleges Tejashwi
Earlier on September 1, Tejashwi Yadav described Nitish Kumar as the "Bhishma Pitamaha of corruption" as his government is allegedly involved in several irregularities. "The Bihar CM is not in a conscious state of mind. He is lacking vision. In fact, the CM does not have a vision for the state. People will oust his government from power in the upcoming assembly polls," Tejashwi claimed while addressing a public rally.
The RJD leader also alleged, "Engineers in Bihar were caught with Rs 100 crore in cash. The CM should stop talking about 'illegal practices' in government departments in the state." He accused Nitish Kumar of "copying" his development plans on several occasions.
