A low-pressure area formed in the northern parts of the Bay of Bengal is expected to move west-northwestwards towards Gangetic West Bengal, northern Odisha, Jharkhand, and northern Chhattisgarh over the next two days. This system is likely to cause sporadic rain with thunderstorms in most parts of Bihar.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of high-intensity rainfall in the eastern and north-central parts of North Bihar, including Araria, Kishanganj, Supaul, Purnia, Katihar, Madhepura, Saharsa, and Darbhanga. Residents in these areas are advised to be cautious due to the potential threat of thunderstorms and strong winds.

On Saturday, light to moderate rain was recorded across the state, including Patna, with winds blowing at a speed of 52 km/h in Madhubani. The maximum temperature has dropped due to rain and cloud cover, while the minimum temperature has increased.
