Bihar Railways News: The Railways informed that several Bihar-bound trains got delayed on Wednesday due to the dense fog, adding that the situation is not likely to improve in the next few days. While providing details, the authority stated that a total of 28 trains passing through Patna Junction, Danapur, Rajendra Nagar Terminal, and Patliputra stations were delayed from their scheduled times. It further stated that the passengers had to wait for several hours on the platforms due to the delays, further advising them to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

The officials, while providing details, stated that the Howrah Duronto Express was delayed by 14 hours, adding that the Sampoorna Kranti Express was delayed by 12 hours. While the Tejas Rajdhani Express was delayed by 10 hours, the Amrit Bharat Express from Rajendra Nagar to New Delhi ran 11 hours and 48 minutes late. Apart from this, the Amrit Bharat Express was delayed by nearly 7 hours. The Railways further stated that the Magadh Express arrived in Patna 8 hours late, adding that the Farakka Express was delayed by 6 hours.

- New Delhi Amrit Bharat Express- 7 hours

- Magadh Express- 8 hours

- Kumbh Express- 3 hours

- Tatanagar-Buxar Express- 3 hours

- Kota-Patna Express- 2 hours 25 minutes

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that the northern states are likely to witness dense fog and a cold wave for the next few days. It further stated that the fog is likely to affect the visibility, leading to inconveniences for the commuters.
