Trading activities in the domestic equity and derivatives market are closed today, October 2, as the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) are closed to observe Gandhi Jayanti. Additionally, trading in commodity and money markets is also suspended. 

Bank branches across the nation are also closed today; Gandhi Jayanti is a National Holiday.

Meanwhile, banking services through UPI, Mobile Banking, and Net Banking are operational. Additionally, cash withdrawal and deposit can be done through ATMs and cash deposit machines.
