Penny Stock Under Rs 5: Shares of Nandan Denim increased by more than 4% during the early trading on Monday, May 26, following the release of its March quarter (Q4FY25) results, which revealed a strong increase in revenue, Despite a sharp decline in profitability, the stock rose as investors responded favourably to the company's top-line performance.
In Intraday trading today, Nandan Denim's stock increased by as much as 4.2 per cent to reach an intraday high of Rs 4.19. However, the small-cap stock erased most of its gain in profit booking and was trading at Rs 4.08 on NSE, up 1.49% against the previous day's closing price. Meanwhile, its 52-week high is Rs 7.33, and its 52-week low is Rs 2.96.
Q4FY25 Earnings Snapshot
Nandan Denim reported a dramatic 81 per cent year-over-year increase in revenue for the quarter ending March 2025, rising from Rs 579.12 crore to Rs 1,048.65 crore. The expansion demonstrates the high demand for the company's denim products both domestically and internationally.

The net profit dropped sharply from Rs 27.11 crore in Q4FY24 to Rs 10.63 crore, a 60.79 per cent decrease. Overall, net profit decreased by 25.50 per cent to Rs 33.48 crore in FY25 from Rs 44.94 crore in FY24. In contrast, annual revenue increased by 76.44 per cent to Rs 3,546.68 crore from Rs 2,010.09 crore in the prior fiscal year.
Stock Performance
The stock has produced a respectable 5% return over the past year. Long-term investors have benefited greatly from its multibagger gains of 755 per cent over the last five years, and its 92 per cent jump over the last two years.
Following gains of 3.7 per cent in April and 11.4 per cent in March, the stock has risen more than 13 per cent so far in May, indicating a consistent recent rally. The stock had previously experienced a five-month decline from October 2024 to February 2025.
