Hardik Pandya’s future with Mumbai Indians (MI) has become a hot topic after a difficult IPL 2026 season, where both his form and the team’s results did not go as expected.
After the season ended on a poor note for MI, a post from Hardik on Instagram quickly caught fans’ attention and started fresh speculation about his next move in the league.
What is Hardik Pandya's post?
In the post, Hardik shared a picture showing a laptop playing a film, along with a notebook, pen, and his phone. But what stood out most was the time displayed on his phone, ‘07:07’. Fans quickly linked it with MS Dhoni, leading to widespread online discussion and theories about a possible transfer.
Ravichandran Ashwin's post fuels rumours
The rumours picked up further pace when former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin replied to a fan’s question about Chennai Super Kings and whether they should target Matheesha Pathirana if Kolkata Knight Riders release him. In his response, Ashwin also mentioned Ben Stokes and a mysterious “07:07” player, which fans quickly connected to Hardik Pandya because of his Instagram story.
