IND vs NZ, 1st Test: The Men in Blue are playing against New Zealand in the series opener of the three-match Test series in Bengaluru. They are currently trailing behind in the match as they were skittled out for just 46 runs during the first innings. Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat first under overcast conditions as the batters were seen struggling to play against the Kiwi fast bowlers.
New Zealand put themselves in the driver's seat at the end of Day 2
The Tom Latham-led side began their chase quite brilliantly. At stumps on the second day, they finished at 180/3 and were leading by 134 runs. Mohammed Siraj gave the team its first breakthrough on the third day and helped the team bounce back. Siraj dismissed Daryl Mitchell.
India's star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah then continued the momentum with brilliant planning. During the 58th over, Bumrah bowled a peachy delivery to dismiss Tom Blundell.

Bumrah bowled the first ball, which hit directly towards the stumps. The batter mistimed a shot, and the ball hit his pads. He then bowled a few good lengthy balls as they went towards the off-stump. Bumrah then bowled the fourth ball slightly shorter, and that's why Blundell mistimed the shot. The ball went towards the outside, where KL Rahul took a stunning catch while standing at the slip cordon.
This dismissal not only showed his abilities but also how the bowler thinks. The Rohit Sharma-led side hopes the pacer continues his onslaught and helps the team win the match.
