IND-A vs AUS-A 2nd Unofficial ODI: The World No.1 T20I batter Abhishek Sharma opened the innings for the host during the second unofficial ODI against Australia A in Kanpur, but got out on a golden duck. Jack Edwards took his wicket. Will Sutherland took the catch as Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bat first.

The Indian fans had high expectations from him post his brilliant performance in the Asia Cup 2025, but he failed to fire with the bat.

Besides him, Prabsimran Singh also fell cheaply during the second ODI. Sutherland took his wicket after scoring just one run off 10 balls in the 3rd over. Lachlan Shaw took Prabsimran's catch.
