India Tour Of Australia: Cricket Australia (CA) has announced a Pat Cummins-less ODI squad for the three-match series against India starting October 19. Australia have trusted their left-arm mainstay Mitchell Starc as he makes a return to the ODI setup. All-rounder Mitchell Marsh will captain the side in the absence of Cummins, who has opted to rest for the entire series. Matthew Short and Mitchell Owen, who are returning from their injuries, have been named in the squad as well.

The Cricket Board has also named a 14-man squad for the initial two T20Is from the five-match series, which will begin from October 8 and conclude on November 8.

Starc has been roped in for his first assignment of the season after he was rested for the entire white-ball series against South Africa. The team management is looking to manage his workload amid the upcoming Ashes series starting in November.
