IND vs NZ: India's star batter Virat Kohli is gearing up for the three-match ODI series against New Zealand, which will begin on Sunday. He has been working hard for this series as he will aim to maintain his sublime form in this format. During the last four matches, he has hit two tons and as many fifties. Before this series, he shared a heartfelt moment with a young fan.

After taking a break from a practice session, Kohli was seen talking to his friends and also gave them autographs. And that's when a young fan caught everyone's attention as he had an uncanny resemblance to a young Kohli.

Kohli was seen smiling while he was talking to the kids, and he was shocked to see the uncanny similarity between the young fan and him.

The fans took to their social media and reacted by calling the youngster a 'mini Kohli'. Many fans compared him to a childhood picture of Kohli.

Kohli's recent form

Post the ODI series against South Africa, Kohli represented Delhi for two matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he scored a hundred and a fifty. He was supposed to play the match against Railways as well, but changed his plans at the last minute.

After he retired from the longest format, there were questions about whether he would play in the 2027 World Cup. Post the failures in the first two ODIs against Australia, he made a brilliant comeback by smashing two tons and as many fifties.

He, along with Rohit Sharma, built a two-hundred partnership against Australia and South Africa. They will aim to maintain their sublime form in the upcoming series against the Kiwis.

The three-match ODI series against New Zealand will be held from January 11, 14, and 18 at Vadodara, Rajkot, and Indore.
