Muthoot Fincorp, which is part of the Muthoot Pappachan Group, has acquired the title sponsorship rights for Indian cricket for the next two years, according to Cricbuzz.

The sponsorship is being referred to as ‘Blue Muthoot’. Sources indicate that the deal was negotiated at a base price of ₹4.85 crore per match. However, the final amount could be lower than the base price. The exact figure is expected to become clear when the BCCI officially announces the agreement.

Deal Covers India’s Home Matches

The Kochi-based Muthoot group will hold the title sponsorship rights for India’s international and domestic matches played at home until March 31, 2028.

The agreement is expected to cover around 35 home internationals during this period. These include 10 Tests, 12 ODIs and 13 T20Is.

The new sponsorship deal is set to begin with India’s three-match ODI series against the West Indies.

Busy Home Season Ahead

The development comes ahead of a packed home season for the Indian team. West Indies, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe are among the teams scheduled to tour India during the new commercial cycle.

The BCCI’s current commercial cycle runs until March 2028 and includes India’s home bilateral fixtures.

India’s bilateral cricket sponsorship portfolio already includes brands such as Campa and SBI Life, while ChatGPT has also been mentioned among the sponsors in the existing arrangement.
