Pakistan National Cricket Team vs Sri Lanka National Cricket Team Timeline: Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka for a three-match ODI series commencing in Rawalpindi on Tuesday. Pakistan's newly appointed captain, Shaheen Afridi, will be high on confidence after they defeated a second-string South African side 2-1 recently. Afridi has urged his side to continue the winning momentum they discovered during a recent series success against South Africa.
"The series win against South Africa in Faisalabad was a great boost for our confidence. It was my first series as ODI captain, and I was really proud of the way the players responded to different situations and played as a unit. The energy, intent, and teamwork were outstanding," Afridi said.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka will prove to be a bigger challenge than South Africa in the sub-continent. Pathum Nissanka and Kamindu Mendis will be key players to watch out for.
