SA-W vs NZ-W, Women's World Cup: New Zealand captain Sophie Devine won the toss and opted to bat against South Africa in their ICC Women's World Cup 2025 match at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Monday.
The defending champions, Australia, asserted their dominance with an 89-run victory over New Zealand, while South Africa's women's team suffered a heartbreaking 10-wicket defeat at the hands of England.
Both teams are heading into the match with unchanged playing XIs.
Devine, who is playing her 300th international match for New Zealand, said her team will be the same as that of the previous game.
Speaking at the time of toss, Sophie Devine said, "We are going to have bat first today. It is a pretty good surface and didn't change much in the last game. We have the benefit of knowing what will be a good total on this surface. We know how threatening the South Africa bowling line-up can be. There has been a bit of rain today. Same team."
