IND-W vs PAK-W, Women's World Cup: Pakistan captain Fatima Sana won the toss and opted to bowl against arch-rival India in the high-voltage clash of ICC Women's World Cup 2025 at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday.

During the Asia Cup, the Indian and Pakistani men's teams faced off three times, with a notable absence of the traditional handshake between the two sides. The Women's side continues this as they refused to shake hands with the Pakistan women's team in their WC match.

Amanjot Kaur, who scored a crucial half-century in India's opening World Cup match, has been replaced by Renuka Thakur in the team.

Speaking at the time of toss, Fatima Sana said, "We're going to bowl first, looks like there could be some moisture on the wicket. One change for us - our confidence is great, hopefully we'll play better today. Anything under 250 could be a good chase."

India captain Harmanpreet Kaur said, "We played a good series here before the WC. We're thinking positively and are looking to do well. One unfortunate change - Amanjot isn't playing, Renuka Thakur replaces well. We've gelled well as a team and are looking forward to today's contest."
