JNVST 2026: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS has extended the online application deadline for the JNVST 2026 Admission Procedure for class 9 and 11 till October 23, 2025 on their official website. The students who have the last opportunity for the Class 9, 11 will be able to register themselves by visiting the website of the NVS at navodaya.gov.in within the given period of deadline.
JNVST 2026: Exam Dates
The selection examination for seeking admission into Class 9 and Class 11 will be conducted by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS on February 7, 2026 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the concerned district/and/or any other centre allotted by NVS. The admit cards for the examination will be made available as per date decided by NVS in due course which will be displayed on the application portal.
The students are advised to keep a close check on the official website of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS to stay updated with the latest information regarding the admission process.

JNVST 2026 Admission: Steps to apply
To apply online candidates can follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1. Students must visit the official website of NVS at navodaya.gov.in.
Step 2. Click on JNVST 2026 for Class 9 and Class 11 available on the home page.
Step 3. A new page will open on the screen where candidates will have to enter the registration details.
Step 4. Once registration is done, fill the application form with correct details.
Step 5. Make the payment of the application fee and submit the application form.
Step 6. Click on submit and download the confirmation page for future reference.
According to the Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme, one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya will be set up in each District in a phased manner. At present, 653 Vidyalayas are operational in 27 States and 08 Union Territories except the state of Tamil Nadu.
