Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2024: Options Available

The Karnataka PGCET round 1 seat allotment result 2024 for MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, and MArch programmes was released on November 15. Applicants with assigned seats will have the following options:

- Freeze: An applicant who is satisfied with the given seat and wishes to take it as final must select the "Freeze" option. They will not take part in subsequent rounds of seat allocation.

- Float: An applicant who accepts the present seat but wants to be evaluated for a better alternative in future rounds must select this option. If they receive an upgraded seat, the previously assigned seat will be cancelled; if no upgrade occurs, they will keep their original seat.

- Slide: This option is for applicants who are willing to accept their current seat but would like to be regarded for a better position within the same college or department. If an upgrade occurs inside the same institution, the previous seat will be cancelled; otherwise, they will preserve the present allotment.
