Punjab Board Class 5 and 8 Results 2026: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is expected to release the Punjab Board Class 5 8 results today, April 2, 2026. Students of Classes 5 and 8 will be able to check their results online on the Board's official website, pseb.ac.in. To view their results online, they will require their roll numbers, names, parents' names, and other details.
The scorecard obtained online from the Board's website is provisional in nature and is intended solely for the students' reference. Students are advised to keep their admit cards ready so that they can download their online scorecards as soon as the results are declared.

Alternatively, when the results are announced, candidates can receive their results offline via the SMS facility. To get your marksheet through SMS, follow these steps:
1. Open the SMS application on your mobile device.
2. Type the required format:
For Class 8: Type PB8(Roll Number)
For Class 5: Type PB5(Roll Number)
3. Send the message to 5676750.
4. The board will then directly send your marksheet to your phone.
PSEB 5th, 8th Result 2026: Past Year Pass Percentage:
Last year, 300,575 students appeared for the Class 5 examination in Punjab, of whom 299,204 candidates passed. The overall pass percentage stood at 99.54%, with boys recording a pass percentage of 99.48% and girls 99.55%.
Meanwhile, a total of 290,471 students from 10,471 schools across the state appeared for the Class 8 annual examination; of these, 282,627 students passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 97.30%. This marks a slight decline from the 98.31% pass rate recorded in 2024.
