RRB Group D Registration 2026 Exam: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially extended the application deadline for the RRB Group D recruitment drive. Candidates who failed to meet the earlier cutoff now have a valuable opportunity to secure one of the 21,997 vacancies across India's different railway zones.

The online application window, which was originally scheduled to close on March 2, 2026, will now be active until March 9, 2026. This one-week extension will give candidates extra time to register and submit their forms on the official portal www.rrbapply.gov.in. Additionally, the fee payment deadline has also been extended from March 4 to March 11, 2026.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2026: Steps To Apply

Step 1. Go to the official website: www.rrbapply.gov.in

Step 2. Click on ‘New Registration’ and fill in basic details (Name, DOB, Aadhaar, Mobile No, Email).

Step 3. Verify your email and mobile number via OTP.

Step 4. Log in with your registration number and password.

Part I: Fill in educational qualifications, community, gender, and other personal details.

Part II: Mention your priority/preference for the posts within the same railway zone.

Step 5. Pay the application fee online or via an offline Challan.

Step 6. Upload scanned images of the photo, signature, and category certificate (if required) anf finally submit the form.
