SBI Clerk 2026 Notification: The State Bank of India has officially released the notification PDF to fill backlog vacancies reserved for SC, ST, and OBC categories from different SBI branches. Along with it, the online registration process has also commenced. Eligible candidates can log in to sbi.bank.in and complete their registration until August 27, 2026. The recruitment aims to fill a total of 1538 Junior Associate backlog vacancies across reserved categories. The preliminary examination will tentatively be held in September 2026, while Mains may be scheduled in October/November 2026. Finally selected candidates will be recruited to various SBI branches to handle customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries.

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026 must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Those appearing in their final degree examinations can also apply, provided they submit their pass certificates during the document verification process. The date mentioned on the mark sheet, degree certificate, provisional certificate, or the official university result will be treated as the date of passing.
As of 1st April 2026, candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age. As per SBI rules, age reservation will be applicable for applicants belonging to reserved categories.

The application link is now active at sbi.bank.in. Eligible candidates must submit their application form, upload mandatory documents, and pay the application fee through the website. The last date to apply is August 27, 2026.
The SBI clerk selection process includes three stages, namely, Preliminary, Mains, and Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). Candidates have to qualify each stage to move forward in the selection process.
