UGC NET Correction Window 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for the UGC NET June exam 2026, following the conclusion of the online registration process. Candidates who have made errors while filling out the application form can make corrections online until May 28, 2026 (until 11:50 PM). After the window closes, no more correction requests will be accepted. The UGC NET 2026 June session exam will be conducted from June 22 to June 30, 2026. Candidates are advised to review their submitted details carefully before the final submission.

UGC NET Correction Window 2026: How To Make Corrections?

Candidates who have filled out the online application form can use the following steps to edit details before the deadline.

Step 1: Go to the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “UGC NET Application Correction Window”.

Step 3: Enter your application number and password to log in.

Step 4: Make necessary changes in the UGC NET application form 2026.

Step 5: Check all the submitted details carefully before the final submission.

UGC NET Correction Window 2026: Editable Fields

Within the objection window, candidates will be able to make changes in the following fields:

  • Date of birth

  • Category

  • Mother's and father's names 

  • Examination city selection, etc

Non-Editable Fields In UGC NET June Application Form 2026

Candidates must note that corrections cannot be made to the candidate's name, gender, photograph, signature, mobile number, email address, permanent or correspondence address, or exam city. 

UGC NET June Exam 2026

The exam will be held from June 22 to 30, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will consist of two question papers. Paper 1 will consist of 50 questions carrying a total of 100 marks. Paper 2 will consist of 100 questions carrying a total of 200 marks. Candidates will be given 3 hours to complete the paper. 

The UGC NET June 2026 is held to determine the eligibility for Assistant Professor roles, awards the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for academic research, and serves as an entry gateway for Ph.D. admissions across Indian universities and colleges.
