KBC 16: Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary Bollywood superstar, has hinted that he has begun shooting for the sixteenth season of the popular quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). On Wednesday, Bachchan took to Instagram to share a photo of himself looking dapper in a navy blue suit, with a caption that suggested he is back at work. “At work .. a bit formal .. a bit preoccupied..a bit in the mood to share ..AND WORK CONTINUES .. as it should!” he wrote.
The post has sparked excitement among fans, many of whom believe he is gearing up for the next season of KBC. Comments poured in, with fans expressing their anticipation: “Seems like shooting for KBC,” one fan speculated. Another added, “Waiting for you to see you every day with a big smile.” A third comment read, “Waiting to watch the next season of KBC.”
Among the many comments, Bachchan’s daughter also took to the comments section to shower love on her father, writing, “And very handsome and debonair to say the least.”
Amitabh Bachchan has been the face of Kaun Banega Crorepati since its inception in 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by another Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan. Over the years, Bachchan’s charismatic presence and engaging hosting style have become synonymous with the show, making it a beloved fixture in Indian households.
During the last episode of KBC 15, an emotional Bachchan addressed the audience, saying, “Devi aur Sajjano, ab hum jaa rahe aur kal se yeh manch ab nahi sajega. Apno se yeh keh pana ki kal se hum yahan nahi aa payenge, na kehne ki himmat hoti aur na kehne ka mann hota hai. Main Amitabh Bachchan iss daur ke liye, iss manch se akhri baar kehne jaa raha hu, Shubraatri.”
KBC 16 was officially announced in April this year with a promotional video tha opened registrations for participants. However, the official premiere date of the new season has yet to be revealed. Fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the show, which promises to bring more exciting episodes and life-changing moments for contestants.
In addition to hosting KBC, Amitabh Bachchan has a busy schedule ahead with several film projects. He will soon be seen in the highly anticipated film, Kalki 2898 AD, which also stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. Furthermore, Bachchan is set to make his Tamil film debut with Vettaiyan, co-starring Rajinikanth. This film marks a significant milestone in Bachchan’s illustrious career, as he ventures into the Tamil film industry.
