Kpop Idols’ Acting Debut: Kpop Idols' are adored by fans for the many talents that they bring to the table. A member in a Kpop group can usually sing, dance, rap, and even do all of them together at once as is the case with global pop sensation BTS' youngest member Jungkook. Apart from their musical prowess, idols are often looked at as inspirations for young fans. Therefore, each of their moves is dissected on social media and is often the subject of criticism. A lot of Kpop idols are reigning over the entertainment industry also because of their acting talents. A lot of fans go crazy when these idols announce their acting projects as is the case with BLACKPINK's Lisa. Lisa recently launched her agency LLOUD and will make her acting debut with The White Lotus: Season 3 as announced on February 13, 2024.

BTS V (Kim Taehyung):
Known for his soulful voice and charismatic stage presence, V made his acting debut in the historical drama 'Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth' (2016-2017). BLACKPINK Jisoo (Kim Ji-soo):
Jisoo stepped into the world of acting with her solo debut (as a lead) in the drama series 'Snowdrop' (2021), where she starred opposite actor Jung Hae-in. She made her acting debut with a cameo in 'The Producers' in 2015. Her portrayal of Eun Yeong-ro demonstrated her versatility beyond music and solidified her presence in the acting realm. Jisoo's performance in 'Snowdrop' showcased her ability to immerse herself in diverse roles, further expanding her artistic horizons.
BLACKPINK Jennie (Jennie Kim):
Jennie took her first steps into the world of acting with the American HBO series 'The Idol' marking an exciting new chapter in her career. She portrayed the character of Dyanne in the show. In addition to her acting endeavours, Jennie has also ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing her agency called ODD ATELIER (OA), showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit alongside her artistic talents.
