Kangana Ranaut shared the OTT release date of Emergency. While sharing a fan post, Kangana wrote on her Instagram stories “17th March releasing on Netflix.” However, the the movie was released on March 14 on Netflix.
Movie watchers, who missed the chance to watch the film in theatres, can watch the movie from the comfort zone of their homes on Netflix. The OTT deal price of Emergency has been kept under wraps.

The movie focuses on the time of Emergency period in India, during the leadership of the first female Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It will showcase then political scenario in the country. The historical biographical drama movie also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Bhumika Chawla, Scott Alexander Young and Adhir Bhat in pivotal roles. It has been directed and produced by Kangana Ranaut herself. Renu Pitti also produced the movie.
