Fighter made its OTT debut on Netflix on March 21, 2024. The OTT giant itself announced on Instagram, "Ladies and Gentlemen, FIGHTER is all set for landing!! Fighter is releasing tonight at 12am on Netflix!"

Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, the movie boasts a star-studded cast including Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, marking the inauguration of an ambitious aerial action franchise. The film showcases the involvement of real-life Indian Air Force cadets in its production. Notably, it draws references from significant events like the 2019 Pulwama attack, the 2019 Balakot airstrike, and the 2019 India–Pakistan border skirmishes. Accompanying the film's gripping narrative is a soundtrack album comprising five songs, composed by Vishal–Shekhar. Satchith Paulose takes on the role of cinematographer, while the visual effects are masterfully crafted by DNEG.
