Karan Johar directorial 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani's grand screening was held on July 26 in Mumbai. The event saw several Bollywood biggies in attendance, from Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal to Ranbir Kapoor, with Alia Bhatt's parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan also showing up at the event.

After the end of the screening, the paparazzi captured filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt exiting the venue and questioned him about his daughter Pooja Bhatt, who is currently inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house. However, to everyone's surprise, Mahesh Bhatt ignored the question and chose to comment on Alia Bhatt's performance in the film.

According to a report in India Today, Mahesh Bhatt was seen coming out of the screening venue when a camera person asked him about his daughter Pooja Bhatt's performance on Bigg Boss OTT 2. The paparazzi asked the filmmaker, "Pooja accha khel rahi hai?" Mahesh then asked, "Kaun?" The paparazzi said, "Pooja Bhatt."

Mahesh Bhatt then replied, "Main abhi Alia Bhatt ka fan hu (I am a fan of Alia Bhatt right now)." When asked about the film, he replied, "Bohut kamaal ki (It was amazing)." Pooja Bhatt is Mahesh Bhatt's elder daughter from his first wife Kiran Bhatt. The filmmaker then married actress Soni Razdan and had Shaheen and Alia Bhatt.

Talking about 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', the film is a romantic-comedy family entertainer, directed by Karan Johar. The film is written by Shashank Khaitan, Sumit Roy, and Ishita Moitra. It is jointly produced by Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions.

The film features Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles, whereas Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles in the film. 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' was extensively shot in New Delhi, Mumbai, Russia, and in Jammu & Kashmir. The film will hit theaters on July 28.
