Premalu Telugu Version Release Date: 'Premalu' is currently one of the most successful Malayalam movies of 2024 and has been receiving an amazing response from the audience and the critics. The light-hearted theme of 'Premalu' has won the audiences' hearts and the movie received praise for its its simple yet amazing storyline and stellar performances by the star cast. The movie is all set to release in Telugu as well and fans couldn't be more excited.

Premalu Telugu Version Release Date:

The Telugu version of 'Premalu' will release in March 2024.

Announcing the news, the official X account of Bhavana Studios wrote, "Attention, Telugu cinema lovers ! PREMALU speaks TELUGU, thanks to SS KARTHIKEYA and SHOWING BUSINESS. Telugu Version Arriving in theaters this March. Let's dive into love!"

SS Karthikeya posted on X, "Venturing into distribution for the first time with #Premalu. As soon as I watched, couldn’t resist myself to release it in Telugu. Hoping it will work here too… In our theatres, in March :) Special mention to this cute Baahubali-themed announcement made by team #Premalu."

While speaking to Film Companion, director Girish AD talked about the inspiration and cinematic influences in 'Premalu'. He said, "I wanted to make films after watching the works of Selvaraghan sir. There might not be an obvious relation between the kind of films that I do but I know a few connections that are woven into my work. These are things I tend to know more than others."

He further told Film Companion, "Usually the heroes we see in films are the perfect embodiment of what society deems acceptable and good. They excel in everything like singing, dancing, playing the guitar etc. But I haven't come across any such people in my life. I have always figured that people usually tend to be good at one or two things and pass their lives doing that without being remarkable in any major way. So I wanted to make films about those characters who are not perfect. I got that from watching the films of Selvaraghavan sir. His heroes are usually common men with no extraordinary skills or talents. That impacted me in a big way. I want my heroes to be normal people with their own limitations and insecurities. That’s what I have followed in my film.”

The movie stars Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles with Sangeet Pratap, Shyam Mohan M, Meenakshi Raveendran, Akhila Bhargavan, Althaf Salim, Mathew Thomas. Co-written and directed by Girish AD, 'Premalu' is produced by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Syam Pushkaran under their production company, Bhavana Studios.
