Mufasa The Lion King Box Office Day 5 (Prediction): Mufasa: The Lion King, which is narrated by Mahesh Babu in Telugu and Shah Rukh Khan in Hindi, is doing well in Indian theatres. Despite falling short of the industry's modest global estimates, the movie has exceeded expectations in India, earning Rs 38 crore in just four days.
On Tuesday, its fifth day, Mufasa added over 5 crore to surpass the Rs 50 crore mark. Mufasa is expected to witness a further surge on Wednesday, which is the Christmas holiday.
Mufasa: The Lion King Day-Wise Box Office Collection

Day 2 (1st Saturday): Rs 13.25 crore
Day 3 (1st Sunday): Rs 17.3 crore
Day 4 (1st Monday): Rs 6.25 crore
Day 5 (1st Tuesday): Rs 8.44 crore (early estimates)
Total: Rs 53.5 crore
From Pushpa 2: The Rise to Vanvaas and Mufasa: The Lion King, there are many options for moviegoers to choose from at the theatres this Christmas. Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan, will also be available to moviegoers on December 25, 2024.

Mufasa: The Lion King To Outperform Pushpa 2: The Rise?
Mufasa sold 41,500 tickets at PVR Inox and 8,500 tickets at Cinepolis, for a total of 50,000 tickets across major national chains on Christmas Day at 2 PM IST, reportedly. It is surprising, though, that Pushpa 2 has sold fewer tickets than Baby John and Mufasa: The Lion King.

Allu Arjun's movie, however, is still doing well at the box office, despite being in its fourth week. Its Christmas ticket sales were lower than anticipated. As of Wednesday, 27,000 tickets have been sold for the movie. Throughout the month, Pushpa 2 has been the most popular option, with the Hindi version surpassing the Telugu one.
Early trends show that Mufasa: The Lion King is the top film, with the highest advanced purchases at national theatres PVR INOX and Cinepolis.
