Hera Pheri 3 Controversy: Paresh Rawal has now spoken out about his longtime co-star Akshay Kumar filing a lawsuit over his abrupt departure from their movie Hera Pheri 3, the third entry in the franchise that began with the 2000 cult comedy Hera Pheri. Akshay Kumar also turned producer for the third part in the franchise.

Paresh Rawal recognised the controversy on social media on Sunday, saying that a legal response had already been sent on his behalf. "My lawyer, Ameet Naik, has sent an appropriate response regarding my rightful termination and exit. Once they read my response all issues will be laid to rest," veteran star tweeted. 

Furthermore, Paresh Rawal's decision to leave the project has angered the Hera Pheri 3's creators. The announcement was met with astonishment and disappointment by the entire team, including director Priyadarshan and Suniel Shetty.

Hera Pheri 3 actor and producer, Akshay Kumar, has filed a lawsuit against Rawal through his production company, which is being handled by attorney Pooja Tidke. "There will be severe legal consequences. It's of course hurt the franchise. We have written to him letting him know that there are a lot of legal consequences involved. There have been expenses incurred towards the cast, towards the crew, towards leading senior actors, logistics equipment, and shooting of the trailer," they told speaking to PTI.

Paresh Rawal's Baburao Ganpatrao Apte became incredibly popular after Hera Pheri was released in 2000 and its sequel in 2006. The future of the third installment is now questionable due to his departure.

This issue, however has left the beloved Hera Pheri franchise with an unclear future, even if Paresh Rawal's legal response's contents are still confidential.
