Delhi Red Fort Blast: The entire nation was left shocked after a loud explosion occurred in a moving car near Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening. The explosion left multiple vehicles in flames, injured several people, and killed some in this tragic incident. The city is on high alert. Condolence messages have been pouring in on social media. The first one came from film fraternity member Raveena Tandon, who shared a post, calling it "Horrible news."

After hearing this tragic news, Raveena took to her X handle and wrote, "Condolences to all those bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the Delhi blast. Horrible news."

Delhi Red Fort Blast Latest Updates

A major explosion took place in a car near Red Fort Metro station in Delhi on Monday evening, shaking the entire nation as soon as the news broke. As per the latest update, 9 people were killed and several others were injured, and the city remains on high alert, including NCR cities Noida, Gurugram and Faridabad. Those who sustained injuries were rushed to the Lok Nayak Hospital (LNJP). Teams from the National Investigation Agency (NIA), National Security Guard (NSG) and the forensic department are investigating the incident thoroughly.

The intensity of the blast was so high that it caused significant damage to Lal Mandir, located near the Red Fort. The parts of the car shattered the temple's glass and damaged the doors and windows of several nearby shops. The impact was also felt in Bhagirath Palace area of Chandni Chowk. Viral videos show shopkeepers calling each other to inquire about the situation.

Following the incident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the loss of lives and extended condolences to the bereaved families. The Prime Minister on X, posted, “May the injured recover at the earliest. Authorities are assisting those affected."
