Maharani Season 4 Trailer: The most-awaited trailer of Maharani Season 4 is out now. Starring Huma Qureshi in lead role, the upcoming season is one of the most-awaited ones due to how season 3 came to an end. Sony LIV shared on Instagram, "The lioness returns to defend her home! Rani gears up for her biggest battle yet. #Maharani4 streaming from November 7 only on Sony LIV." According to the caption, Qureshi, who plays Rani, is gearing up for the biggest battle of her life.

The series delves into dark themes like corruption, misogyny and political intrigue, drawing inspiration from real-life events in Bihar's 1990s as it narrates the rise of a powerful woman against all odds.

Maharani S4 OTT Release Date

The fourth season of Huma Qureshi-starrer web series will stream on Sony LIV from November 9, 2025.

The acclaimed series Maharani, starring Huma Qureshi, has had a remarkable journey since its inception. The first season premiered on SonyLIV on May 28, 2021 and set the stage for the subsequent seasons. The second season, which launched its teaser on July 16, 2022 and trailer on August 1, 2022, drew inspiration from real-life events and characters, including the Shilpi-Gautam Murder case, Sadhu Yadav, Rajiv Goswami, Shibu Soren, Mohammad Shahabuddin, Prashant Kishor and the Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC).

Additionally, the season was influenced by the 2000 Bihar Legislative Assembly election. The second season was finally released on SonyLIV on August 25, 2022. The third season's trailer was unveiled on February 19, 2024 and the season premiered on SonyLIV on March 7, 2024. This season, too, borrowed from real-life events, including the notable Jitan Manjhi episode, further blurring the lines between fact and fiction.
