Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s romantic drama Main Vaapas Aaunga finally hit theatres on Friday. Starring Sharvari, Vedang Raina, and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles, the film opened to positive reviews from both audiences and critics. However, the strong word-of-mouth and critical acclaim have yet to reflect in its box office performance.

According to Sacnilk, Main Vaapas Aaunga earned Rs 1.85 crore on Saturday, showing a slight improvement from its opening-day collection of Rs 1.15 crore. With this, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹3 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 3.57 crore. The romantic drama will now look to post stronger numbers on Sunday to maximize its opening weekend haul.

According to reports, Main Vaapas Aaunga was made on an estimated production budget of Rs 70 crore.
