Nearly six years after their social media clash during the farmers' protests, Kangana Ranaut has clarified that there is no personal feud between her and Diljit Dosanjh. Promoting her film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, Kangana said they simply held different views on a particular issue and were never against each other. Her remarks come as both Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata and Diljit’s Main Vaapas Aaunga hit theatres on June 12.
In a conversation with NDTV, Ranaut reiterated that she has no personal issues with Diljit Dosanjh, saying they have never even met in real life. She also expressed openness to meeting him in the future. When asked if she would message Diljit to praise his performance in Main Vaapas Aaunga if she liked the film, Kangana laughed off the idea, calling it 'too much'.

The feud between Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh began in December 2020 during the farmers' protests. Kangana shared a photo of an elderly woman at a protest site and incorrectly identified her as a participant from the Shaheen Bagh protests.
She further claimed that the woman could be paid Rs 100 to join protests, sparking widespread outrage online. Diljit responded by sharing evidence that the woman was actually Mahinder Kaur, a farmer from Punjab.
The disagreement soon escalated into a heated social media war, with both exchanging sharp remarks while Diljit defended the protesting farmers and women.
