Shatrughan Sinha recently made a post on X mourning the death of his dear friend and co-star Dharmendra. In his post, he mentioned that he met Hema Malini and Dharam Ji's daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol and extended his condolences to the family. Sinha described the meeting as heartbreaking and traumatic, as his friend was no longer there, only his sweet and beautiful memories were present.

On Monday, Shatrughan Sinha tweeted, "Met our dearest family friend @dreamgirlhema. It was heartbreaking to meet her in these traumatic times of her tremendous loss of our dearest family friend, our elder brother @aapkadharam.” He further added, "Met her two beautiful daughters @Esha_Deol #AhanaDeol with comforting words for their immense loss. Dharamji was a kind & gentle soul. He isn't with us today, but his memories will live with us forever." He concluded, "Prayers & condolences for their peace in these difficult times. God bless them all. Om Shanti." With this message, Shatrughan Sinha added some nostalgic memories of himself with Dharamji and Hema Malini.

Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha shared the screen in several memorable films. From Dost in 1974 to Teesri Ankh in 1982, Loha in 1987, later Taaqat in 1995 and many more, the duo created magic whenever they appeared online together. This iconic duo built a dynamic on-screen partnership and became the dream cast for many directors. The audience loved their work together and continued to watch them for decades.

Late actor Dharmendra took his last breath at his Mumbai residence just a few weeks before his 90th birthday. His fans and family prayed and hoped for him to bounce back, but life had other plans. The 'He-Man' of the industry passed away at the age of 89 on December 24 and left a void in the Hindi film industry. The entire industry and his family and friends were left heartbroken after his death.

Dharmendra’s last rites took place at the Pawan Hans Crematorium on the same day, where prominent stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, with his father, Salim Khan, came to pay their respects.
