Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Advance Booking Opens: The much-anticipated romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is all set to light up cinemas on 2nd October 2025, just in time for the festive season. Starring Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, and Sanya Malhotra, the film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions. With just days left for its release, the makers have officially opened advance booking, giving moviegoers the chance to secure tickets early.
The announcement came through a lively teaser shared by Karan Johar on Instagram. Alongside the clip, he wrote, “Long story short, ADVANCE BOOKING IS NOW OPEN! Celebrate your Dussehra with us and we’ll bring the chaos, extra drama, and lots of entertainment! #SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari – in cinemas this Dussehra, 2nd October.” The film’s release date has been carefully chosen to coincide with the festive period of Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra. However, it won’t be an easy run at the box office as Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will face stiff competition from Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1, another highly awaited release.

Meanwhile, according to a report in Pinkvilla, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared the film with a U/A certificate. It will run for 2 hours and 15 minutes, which makes it a neatly packed entertainer suitable for families and young audiences alike. Alongside the leading quartet, Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi will also be seen in significant roles, adding further depth and entertainment value to the story.
On the other hand, the film also marks the continuation of the successful collaboration between director Shashank Khaitan and Varun Dhawan. The duo has previously delivered box office hits like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017). With Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, they aim to recreate the same magic but with a fresh storyline and an exciting ensemble cast. Early buzz around the film suggests it will be a vibrant mix of comedy, music, romance, and drama. With its light-hearted tone and colourful treatment, the film promises an experience that balances humour with emotion while keeping the pace engaging throughout its runtime.
