Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi had an emotional and candid discussion on their YouTube channel about a difficult phase in their marriage. As they looked back on their early years together, the couple discussed career challenges, financial strain, and the miscommunications that resulted from Archana taking on the role of primary breadwinner.

Archana Puran Singh talked about earning for the family and the emotional strain it caused her in the early years of their marriage. Despite her outward confidence, she acknowledged that she was having internal difficulties.

Archana Puran Singh said, "When I married you, I was like, 'Yes, I am the one who is earning'. But somewhere I had repressed my feminine side, which wanted someone to provide, which wanted me to lean on someone and look up to him, just like my mother looked up to my father."

Archana admitted that she may have sent Parmeet conflicting signals because she did not completely comprehend these feelings at the time. She also thought back on the professional choices she made at that time, noting that in Mumbai, survival frequently took precedence over artistic fulfilment.

"Another mantra of mine was that I never said no to work. The result of that was that I did very bad films. I did C-grade films. My mindset was to put bread and butter on the table," the actor shared.

Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi overcame the challenging stage together in spite of the emotional pressure and divergent viewpoints over those years. After being married in 1992, Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi have two sons, Aaryamann Sethi and Ayushmaan Sethi. They still have a close relationship based on understanding and honesty.
