Prabhas-starrer 'Adipurush' has created a lot of hype amongst the audience and celebrities are also supporting the film. As per reports, Ranbir Kapoor will be donating 10,000 tickets to the film to underprivileged kids across the country.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Ranbir Kapoor has learned a lot from Ramayana since childhood and is hoping for the kids of today’s generation to learn it as well. Therefore, the actor has decided to donate 10,000 tickets to NGOs across the Hindi belts.

Earlier, 'Karthikeya 2' producer Abhishek Agarwal announced that he will also donate 10,000 tickets out of his devotion to Lord Ram. He will donate the tickets to government schools, old-age homes, and orphanages located in Telangana.

Taking to his Twitter, he wrote "#Adipurush is a once-in-a-lifetime movie which needs to be celebrated by one and all. Out of my devotion to Lord Shree Ram, I have decided to give 10,000+ tickets to Government schools, Orphanages & Old Age Homes across Telangana for free. Fill out the Google form with your details to avail of the tickets."

Earlier, 'Adipurush' faced criticism due to its poor VFX and portrayal of Ramayana. Kriti defended her film and said, "As Om Raut, my director has mentioned in the note that was brought out, it is a film that we all are extremely proud of. It is a film which is of grand canvas; it is a part of our history and is extremely important. It needs to be put out in the right way and in the best possible way because that’s what he (Om) also had envisioned."

"So a one-minute 35-second teaser came out. There is a lot more to the film that he (Om) needs to work upon, and needs time. We all want to give it the best shot because this is an opportunity to get our history, to get our religion globally out there. It is a story that we all are proud of, so it needs to be done in the best possible way. And I think he is going to give it all the talent that it needs, and all the effort it needs because the heart and the soul are in the right place,” she added.

'Adipurush' will release on June 16, 2023. It stars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon as Raghava and Janaki respectively. Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Devdatta Nage as Bajrang.
