Ranvir Shorey recently recalled his struggling days in the initial days in the industry. Archana Puran Singh shared a vlog on her YouTube channel, where she can be seen enjoying a day with her industry friends Ranvir Shorey, Vinay Pathak, and her husband Parmeet Sethi. In the vlog, it can be seen the group visiting several spots in the city while recalling their struggling days. Archana asked Ranvir and Vinay about their initial days in the industry. During the interaction, Ranvir stated that his biggest struggle was from having a home to not having one. He shared that he started living with his family in a rented apartment.

Ranvir said, “I never had such a struggle where I couldn’t afford food. The struggle we had was that we didn't have our own house to live in because Dad (Krishan Dev Shorey) sold our house for a movie he was producing. So, from having a house, we were in a no-house situation, and then we shifted to a rented apartment. But food scarcity was never an issue. Hum bhade pe reh kar bhi mutton hi kha rahe the (we were eating mutton even while living in a rented apartment).”

While recalling his struggles, Vinay added “There were days when there was no money, but it was never like we hadn’t eaten for three days and our bodies had given up. There was always some way to fill our stomachs.”

On the professional front, Ranvir worked in Shekhar Home, Sonchiriya, Chandni Chowk to China, Titli, Sunflower, Khosla Ka Ghosla!, Lootcase and Ek Tha Tiger to name a few.

On the other hand, Vinay Pathak is known for his work in projects like Bheja Fry, Chalo Dilli, 420 IPC, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Aliya Basu Gayab Hai, Johnny Gaddaar, Luka Chuppi, Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi and Badlapur to name a few.
