Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Box Office Collection: Randeep Hooda's directorial debut, 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' is based on the life of revolutionary Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and it released in theatres on March 22. Apart from Randeep Hooda, 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' stars Ankita Lokhande, Amit Sial, Rajesh Khera, and Mrinal Dutt. The historical biographical drama is co-written and co-produced by Hooda himself, along with Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, and Yogesh Rahar.
Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Box Office Collection Day 3:
The movie witnessed a slight growth at the box office on its third day, earning Rs 2.60 crore, as per a report by Sacnilk.com. The film, thus, collected Rs 5.90 crore in its opening weekend.
After a slow start with an opening day collection of Rs 1.05 crore, the movie saw a significant surge on Saturday, collecting Rs 2.25 crore. Despite facing competition from Kunal Kemmu's 'Madgaon Express', which also released on the same day, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar managed to maintain a steady performance.
Madgaon Express, a buddy comedy set in Goa, features Avinash Tiwary, Pratik Gandhi, and Divyenndu in lead roles. The film, which also stars Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye, and Chhaya Kadam, surpassed "Swatantrya Veer Savarkar" in terms of box office collections, earning Rs 7.10 crore in its opening weekend.
The film's performance reflects the audience's interest in historical biopics and the curiosity surrounding the life of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Despite facing competition at the box office, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar has managed to hold its ground, showcasing the appeal of its storyline and performances. Swatantrya Veer Savarkar also stars Ankita lokhande as Savarkar's wife Yamuna Bai.
