The advance ticket sales for the film in the Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana commenced this evening at 5:28 PM. This update has generated considerable interest among movie enthusiasts, who are eager to witness the box office performance of the film in the region.
The movie is receiving an overwhelming response in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, driving significant pre-sales. As of September 2, 2024, the film achieved an impressive milestone, with day one ticket sales grossing Rs 9.80 crores, excluding blocked seats. This remarkable feat includes the sale of over 4.65 lakh tickets at the Indian box office, underscoring the movie's massive popularity and anticipation.
The film was announced in May 2023. Filming began in October 2023, spanning multiple locations including Chennai, Thailand, and the US, before wrapping up by June 2024. The film features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, and editing by Venkat Raajen.
The GOAT Plot: Gandhi, a seasoned operative, leads a four-member team in the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS), a Chennai-based unit that collaborates with India's external intelligence agency, RAW.
