Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise left a journalist astonished when he surprised her by repeating some Hindi words she had spoken.

Cruise, who has been actively promoting 'Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One', received a compliment from a journalist during an interview regarding his French skills showcased in the movie.

She expressed her curiosity by wondering if Tom Cruise would engage in a conversation with her in Hindi, saying, "Is he going to speak in Hindi with me?" In response, the actor offered, "If you want me to speak in Hindi with you, I will. Give me..."

When the actor was requested to repeat the phrase "Namaste, aap kaise hai (hello, how are you?)," he flawlessly did so, impressing everyone and earning praise from internet users.

Taking to Twitter, one fan commented, "Too cute. Best I have seen so far." Another remarked, "Both appreciate each other." A third added, "Bless him, love his laugh."

'Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One' has been receiving immense praise from both viewers and critics. The film currently boasts an impressive 98 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The critical consensus highlights the high stakes and grand set pieces, stating that the movie reaffirms why the ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise is one that audiences should unquestionably embrace.

The critical consensus reads, "With world-threatening stakes and epic set pieces to match that massive title, ‘Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One' proves this is still a franchise you should choose to accept. " The movie will release on July 12.

"This train sequence was tricky, but the outcome made it all worth it. I can't wait for everyone to see it come to life!" Cruise wrote in the caption.

Filmed in both Norway and the UK, the train scene showcased Ethan Hunt, portrayed by Cruise, engage in a knife fight on top of a fast-moving train, which was racing through a stunning valley at a speed of 60 miles per hour.
