Indian Railways is preparing to launch two new Vande Bharat trains connecting Bikaner and Jodhpur with Delhi Cantt, alongside a new Udaipur-Chandigarh Superfast train. These high-speed Vande Bharat trains, capable of reaching 160 kmph, promise faster and more comfortable travel. However, the absence of an official announcement regarding regular operations and the delay in opening bookings have left passengers frustrated, complicating their travel plans.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off the Bikaner-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat, Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat, and Udaipur-Chandigarh Superfast trains from Banswara on Thursday, operating as inaugural specials. Despite this, the Railway Board has not yet confirmed the start of regular services, leaving passengers uncertain about schedules and ticket availability.

According to Patrika News, railway officials have stated that bookings will commence only after the Railway Board issues formal orders to update the reservation system. Until then, passengers cannot book tickets online or at counters, adding to their inconvenience due to unclear schedules and fares.
