According to the ET report, the meeting will be held at the office of the Executive Engineer (Operation and Maintenance) on the first floor of the 110 kV SRMC Substation campus, Chettiar Agaram Road, Porur. Residents can use this forum to raise concerns regarding electricity supply, billing, and other service-related issues. Authorities have urged consumers to attend and submit their complaints for prompt resolution.
Early on November 15, several areas in Chennai district, Tamil Nadu, will experience a power outage due to regular maintenance work. The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) frequently conducts periodic repair, maintenance, and upgrade activities, which can temporarily disrupt the electricity supply in affected areas.
However, the number of areas scheduled for a power cut on November 15 is comparatively lower than usual, minimising the overall impact on residents. Tangedco advises consumers to plan accordingly during the maintenance period.
