In the highly anticipated 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, the Mustafabad constituency has declared its winner. BJP's Mohan Singh Bisht secured a decisive victory, defeating AAP's Adeel Ahmad Khan by a significant margin. The final vote count showed Bisht with 85,456 votes, while Khan trailed with 43,200 votes, marking a lead of over 40,000 votes for the BJP candidate.

BJP's Mohan Singh Bisht secured a comfortable win against AAP's Adeel Ahmad Khan by 17,578 votes. While Bisht secured a total of 85,215 votes, Khan was left with 67,637 votes.

The Mustafabad seat, which was previously held by AAP's Haji Yunus, had witnessed intense competition. Yunus had won the 2020 elections with a margin of 20,704 votes, defeating BJP’s Jagdish Pradhan. However, this time around, BJP’s Mohan Singh Bisht turned the tables and emerged as the clear favorite in the ongoing trends, building on the BJP's rising influence across Delhi.

The election was held on February 5, along with 69 other constituencies, with a voter turnout of 61.46%. Voting and counting in Mustafabad were closely followed, and by the time the 10th round of counting concluded, Bisht was leading.Adeel Ahmad Khan, meanwhile, struggled to make a comeback despite strong support from AAP’s local network.

In third place, Congress candidate Ali Mehdi garnered 5,126 votes, a distant third from the leading duo. BJP's success in Mustafabad is seen as part of a broader trend across Delhi, where the party secured a historic win in Delhi assembly election.
