Diwali Holiday In Uttarakhand: The government has changed the day of the Diwali holiday in the state. Now there will be two days of Diwali holiday in the state on 31 October and 1 November. Earlier this holiday was declared on 1 November. After that, it was made on October 31.

There was a lot of confusion about the Diwali holiday in the state. Now the government has clarified the situation regarding this. According to the order issued, the pre-announced holiday of Diwali will be amended, and the Diwali holiday will be on 31 October and 1 November.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday visited the residence of former Chief Ministers Harish Rawat and Bhagat Singh Koshyari and wished them Diwali and Dhanteras. Chief Minister Dhami went among the local children in Gorakhpur (Doon) on Defense Colony Road and presented them gifts while wishing them Diwali.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami started the celebration of festival of lights at the State BJP headquarters on Balveer Road here on Tuesday on Dhanteras. On this occasion, he wished everyone a Happy Deepawali, including party workers, and wished for everyone's well-being.

In his message, the Chief Minister said that Deepawali is a festival of enthusiasm, excitement, victory of truth over falsehood and prosperity. He also wished that this festival should fill all the people of the state with happiness and prosperity and make the state move rapidly on the path of development. BJP State President Bhatt said that this year the festival of Deepawali is very special for everyone. After centuries of waiting, Lord Shri Ram has arrived in his abode.

CM Dhami said that Deepawali has brought immense happiness for the Sanatanis. He appealed to all the people to celebrate this festival of victory of truth and goodness over the darkness of falsehood and evil with enthusiasm. After the puja, the festival of lights was started with the distribution of sweets and fireworks at the state BJP office. On this occasion, BJP state general secretary organization Ajay Kumar, state general secretary Aditya Kothari, MLAs Khajan Das, Savita Kapoor, and Adesh Chauhan, former minister Swami Yatishwaranand, BJP state vice president Mukesh Koli, state treasurer Puneet Mittal, office secretary Kaustubhanand Joshi, state media in-charge Manveer Chauhan, Aditya Chauhan, Madhu Bhatt, and other senior officials and workers were present.

Earlier, a Deepawali milan program was organized by BJP state president Bhatt at his residence in Yamuna colony.
