In a deeply disturbing incident from Nana Kadia village in Gujarat’s Kutch district, a 40-year-old woman was allegedly strangled to death by her two sons, one of whom is a minor. The shocking crime came to light within hours, and both boys were arrested after reportedly confessing during police questioning.

According to a Times of India report, the victim's father filed the FIR. The family had been working as farm laborers in the area for the past year. The woman had been living apart from her husband, a cattle herder, who was away at work when the tragedy occurred.

Police said the elder son is 19, while the younger is minor. Investigations suggest the boys were upset over their mother’s alleged behavior, accusing her of staying up late, talking on the phone, and ignoring household responsibilities. That night, after finding her once again on the phone, the brothers allegedly strangled her in a fit of rage.

The horrifying act was revealed when the farm owner reportedly informed the victim’s father that his grandsons had confessed to the crime. When he reached the spot, he found his daughter dead, bearing visible strangulation marks.

Investigating Officer A.M. Makwana said that though the couple had been married for 20 years, the woman had been distant from her husband in recent months, which further fueled the sons’ suspicions.
