Kedarnath: Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing Due To Technical Glitch

Emergency Helicopter Landing In Kedarnath: A helicopter of Kestrel Aviation had to make an emergency landing in Kedarnath due to a technical glitch. The emergency landing created panic among the passengers. The chopper made an emergency landing nearly  100 metres before the helipad and all the passengers including the pilot escaped unhurt.

The pilot of the helicopter said that all the passengers were safe. Meanwhile, District Disaster Management Officer Rudraprayag told India Today that the helicopter was coming from Sirsi helipad to Sh Kedarnath Dham and was carrying six passengers. He said that the helicopter made an emergency landing nearly 100 metres before the helipad of Sh Kedarnath Dham at around 7.05 hrs due to some technical problem.
