Mumbai Weather Update: Mumbai is going to experience hot and humid conditions as March 10 unfolds. According to the Indian Meteorological Department reports, the maximum temperature is expected between 37°C and 38°C, while the minimum temperature is projected around 24°C, accompanied by predominantly clear skies.

According to IMD, a strong combination of intense sunshine and a dry atmospheric pattern is driving the early heat spikes. The lack of cloud cover, paired with lingering coastal humidity, has made afternoons especially grueling, significantly raising the "real feel" temperature across the city.

IMD Also Warns Neighboring Districts

The weather department has warned that parts of Mumbai and its neighboring districts could experience heatwave-like conditions. With several monitoring stations already recording temperatures far above the seasonal average for early March, it appears summer has made an aggressive, early arrival this year.

Looking ahead, Mumbai is expected to stay warm and dry for the next few days. While forecasts predict clear skies and high humidity levels along the coast, there may be some minor relief after March 11 as temperatures are slated to dip slightly. Until then, residents should prepare for continued discomfort from the persistent heat.

The observation of IMD also highlights that how dry north-easterly winds and several other meteorological factors are contributing to this premature summer surge which is already starting to take a toll on daily life in India's financial hub. As of now, officials are keeping a close watch on the situation, but with no significant cloud cover or rainfall on the horizon, the city is unlikely to see any immediate relief from the heat.
